Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Telemetry PCU

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Telemetry PCU to join our team in Rockford, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for an experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Medical Surgical units. The ideal candidate must have a current IL License and CPR certification. Additionally, the RN must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu. This position will involve floating between two Medical Surgical units, requiring every other weekend and holiday, and 12-hour shifts (Nights 7P-7A).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
  • Document patient information according to standards of care.
  • Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care based on individualized patient needs.
  • Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to support other units or departments in the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
