Aventura at the Bay is seeking a highly detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate to join our team. As an Environmental Services Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. Your duties will include performing laundry duties, delivering soiled linens to the laundry room, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms.

You will also be responsible for cleaning the laundry room, including sorting and soiled linen tubs, as well as maintaining a clean atmosphere throughout the facility. This includes cleaning and making resident beds, if needed, cleaning resident rooms, wheelchairs, commodes, etc., and maintaining adequate supplies such as bathroom tissue, paper towels, and hand soap.

Additional responsibilities will include changing room divider curtains and window draperies as needed, maintaining a clean atmosphere in all public areas, including dining rooms, dayrooms, break rooms, public bathrooms, etc., dusting and wet mopping all corridors, removing trash from all areas, and reporting any needed repairs to your supervisor.

This role requires attention to detail, long-term care or housekeeping experience, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. You will work part-time evenings, 4:30-11pm, with on-call rotation available. If selected, you can expect to work weekend/holiday rotations.
