Job Title: Physical Therapist

At The Hope Learning Center LLC, we are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide Physical Therapy mentorship to students with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work together to ensure high-quality treatment, documentation, and compliance in a school-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screening: Complete screening requests to determine each student's need for an evaluation.
  • Evaluation: Conduct standardized assessments to determine eligibility due to PT deficits, such as gross motor skills including strength, balance, bilateral coordination, endurance, motor planning, and stair transitions.
  • Treatment: Write evidence-based IEPs or 504s for students who have Physical Therapy-related needs incorporating various treatment strategies and accommodations.
  • Documentation: Complete documentation in accordance with Hope deadlines and legal timelines.
  • Communication: Maintain communication with students' families and/or caregivers regarding progress and needs.
  • Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary team members to determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on each student's needs and improve service delivery and treatment.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
