Key Responsibilities

  • Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fit and adapt lenses and frames utilizing optical prescription.
  • Verify visual acuity, analyze and interpret prescriptions and lens design, and measure pupillary distances.
  • Select and measure frame for facial contour, eye size and bridge size and temple length, and fit and adjust eyewear to the face and eyes.
  • Dispense contact lenses and quality products.

Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • ABO Certification.
  • 2+ years in Retail Optical.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Ability to grow sales through sales skills.
  • Enthusiastic and concise communications.
  • Attention to detail.
