About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Seasonal Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a Seasonal Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- 1+ year of experience in a medical-surgical or neurosciences setting.
- Ability to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period, including weekends and holidays.
