Assets Management Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Assets Management Specialist to join our team at Smart Care Equipment Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial accounting processes and serve as a key partner to the Corporate Controller.
  • Report financial results in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and Smart Care's policies.
  • Maintain and develop accounting policies and controls for Operations, IT, HR, and Fleet.
  • Lead the segment's financial statement process monthly and ensure financial statements are presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ensure integrity of the financial results through regular reconciliations of all permanent accounts and underlying ledgers.
  • Provide technical expertise in POC accounting, capable of training and reviewing POC accounting with segment entities.
  • Oversee cost accounting for inventory and inventory control for all segment entities.
  • Address entity inquiries related to payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or other accounting functions.
  • Ensure functional expertise of primary front-end and back-end ERP systems that exist in the segment.
  • Coordinate with the FPA department on the segment consolidation and account mapping, for both reporting and forecasting activities.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/financial experience, minimum of 2 years in controller position preferred.
  • Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including the use of Excel and pivot tables.
  • Private equity and consolidation experience preferred.
  • Ability to partner with operational and sales leaders to provide data that will drive results.
