Job Title: UI Development Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic UI/UX Team Lead to oversee and guide our talented team of developers based in both the US and Mexico. This role will involve leading the design, development, and implementation of secure, reliable, scalable, and high-performing features and functionality for our Web UI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX developers across the US and Mexico.
  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality web UI features.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing web applications.
  • Adhere to best practices in UI/UX design and development.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Required Skills:
  • UI/UX Technologies: Fundamental knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and Sass.
  • SQL/PL SQL: Experience with database management and queries.
  • JavaScript Frameworks: Proficiency in React and Angular, along with client-side scripting.
  • Accessibility & Web Standards: Understanding of semantic UI and general web standards.
  • Responsive Design: Ability to handle cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • User Experience Design: Consistency with the in-house design system.
  • Asynchronous Web Pages: Experience with AJAX and other asynchronous techniques.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git/Github and Bitbucket.
  • Testing: Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress.
  • Scrum Delivery Methodology: Understanding of Agile practices.
Preferred Skills:
  • Java & Web Services: Knowledge of REST and SOAP.
  • Containerization: Experience with Docker and OpenShift.
  • Internet Protocols: Understanding of various internet protocols.
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM): Familiarity with AEM for content management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
