We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Day Camp Director Assistant to join our team in the City of Kyle, TX. As a key member of our camp staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for children aged 1st-9th grade.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be able to supervise groups of children, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. A valid Texas Driver's License and certification in Adult and Child CPR & Standard First Aid are required.

About the Role:

  • Implement programs and activities for the Day Camp under the supervision of the Head Counselor or Recreation Coordinator.
  • Maintain safety protocols and procedures, including those related to pool supervision.
  • Provide a positive and inclusive environment for all children and staff.
  • Collaborate with the camp team to plan and deliver engaging activities.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old and have graduated from high school or obtained a GED equivalent.One year of professional experience in childcare and/or youth recreation programs preferred.Valid Texas Driver's License and certification in Adult and Child CPR & Standard First Aid required.
