Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to work in a K-12 school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience working with students in a school-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals.
  • Provide occupational therapy in individual or group settings, focusing on enhancing students' functional abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and routines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal setting.
Job Requirements
  • Current MD State License
  • Masters or PhD in Occupational Therapy
  • PDE Teaching Certificate (if applicable)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
