Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Assembler to join our team at ResourceMFG in Pendergrass. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling diesel engines according to established procedures and instructions on our Value Add Assembly Lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complete assembly of industrial diesel engines while following all company instructions and guidelines.
  • Use lift and hoist equipment to move engines and parts.
  • Use care and attention when handling engine components.
  • Skillfully use hand, air, and electric power tools in the assembly of engines.
  • Skillfully use torque tightening tools such as torque wrenches and power angle drivers.
  • Skillfully use typical measurement tools used in the assembly of engines, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and the like.
  • Maintain attention to detail under varying circumstances.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a manufacturing (assembly) environment.
  • Experience with IC engines (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience with industrial engines and components.
  • Knowledge of and experience with industrial engine assembly.
  • Knowledge of and experience in manufacturing environments.
  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry weights up to 50 lbs.

What We Offer:

  • $16.50 to $17.00 per hour.
  • Overtime available.
  • 1 PAID DAY OFF every month.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • After 30 days of employment, you will be eligible for benefits.
