Advanced Care Partner Externship Acute Care of the Elderly

UCHealth is seeking a motivated and compassionate Advanced Care Partner (ACP) to join our team in the Acute Care of the Elderly unit. As an ACP, you will work under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider to provide direct patient care and support to our elderly patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, blood glucose measurement, and sterile dressing changes.
- Assist patients with personal care, activities of daily living, and progressive mobility.
- Contribute to a safe and clean care environment by maintaining a stocked, cleaned, and orderly care area.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
- Enrollment in an accredited nursing program and good standing.
- Completion of first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I) and provision of transcripts of successful completion.
- Competitive hourly rate of $24.83.
- PRN schedule with 0.0 hours per pay period.
- Nights shift.
