The MPP team is responsible for building the infrastructure, services, and features that enable the creation and launch of new products. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, low-latency products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and engineering managers to deliver on the product roadmap and meet company-wide objectives.
- Design, build, and maintain new products and services using Python (Django) and Go, MySQL & PostgreSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Kafka.
- Work closely with engineering and product managers to assess trade-offs, develop plans, and build platform and foundations to enable scalable product development.
- Optimize internal processes with automation to service customers with little to no human intervention.
- Setup and maintain instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting for our services.
- 3+ years of experience working on relevant tech stacks.
- 1+ years of production support experience for enterprise-class customers.
- At least 1+ years of system design experience.
Abnormal Security offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $148,800—$175,000 USD, as well as bonus, restricted stock units (RSUs), and benefits. Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
