Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team for a temporary assignment in California.

About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls and monitor equipment and patient, making adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images in sequence of exposure
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
  • Most states require licensure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
