Are you an experienced Financial Analyst with expertise in compliance and operational management?

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst specializing in Energy to lead the Renewable Identification Number (RIN) compliance processes for our organization and our Renewable Fuels Marketing Plant partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual RIN compliance processes for our plant partners and the organization.
  • Serve as a RIN Agent to supervise and coordinate compliance activities on behalf of Renewable Fuels Marketing Plant Partners.
  • Generate weekly reports detailing Plant RIN positions, ensuring accurate maintenance and accounting of all Plant RIN positions, and providing necessary RIN balance information to the plants.
  • Deliver monthly RIN transaction reports to plant partners, ensuring alignment with EMTS (EPA Moderated Transaction System) and clarifying any identified variances.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong independent work ethic, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and outstanding organizational skills, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including Traders and IT professionals.
  • While expertise in RINS is preferred, we are open to considering candidates with other compliance-related experience or a Finance generalist background who is detail-oriented and capable of working autonomously while coordinating with other departments as necessary (primarily IT).
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred; however, relevant business experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
