We support the maintenance, installation, and repair of our products at customer sites used for medical research and laboratory work. Our interns enjoy working on projects that match their area of interest while collaborating closely with experienced Field Service Engineers.
The results of your work will contribute directly to our products or processes, providing improvements to health and medicine around the globe.
Your Internship Experience:
During your 12-week internship, you'll take on a challenging project from strategy to impact. You'll also spend one week learning about our continuous improvement method.
Throughout the summer, you'll have opportunities to connect with fellow interns, associates, and leaders. At the end of your internship, you'll present a report out to your manager and other leaders in the operating company.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Pursuing a degree in mechanical, electrical, biological science, engineering, or related field.
Desirable Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working around moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
- Outstanding documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Interest or experience in the life sciences domain.
Travel and Physical Requirements:
- Hold and maintain a valid Driver's License; meet Vendor Credentialing requirements; ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs. along with ability to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer an hourly rate of $30, providing a competitive compensation package.
