MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at North Star Diagnostic Imaging. As a Diagnostic MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic MRI procedures, focusing on patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality diagnostic MRI imaging
• Identify patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and other stakeholders
• Ensure operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions
• Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records

Working Conditions:

• Guaranteed minimum of 34 hours per week
