We are currently looking for a Culinary Specialist to join our team at The Shores, a Senior Care Community located in a beautiful coastal area.

Qualifications for a Culinary Specialist:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of culinary experience and meal preparation.
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience, supervisory experience is not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality meal preparation focusing on consistency, presentation, flavor, and temperature.
  • Maintain safe food handling practices including receiving, storage, cooking, service, and sanitation of tools and workspace.
  • Manage food costs effectively by adhering to recipes, preparing appropriate food quantities, and utilizing proper cooking techniques.
  • Play a vital role in the production team supporting various dining programs including catering and events.
