We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Hiram, Georgia. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Services team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality diagnostic images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic procedures using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including radiographic machines, CT scanners, and fluoroscopy units.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality control activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care and image quality.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and service.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology with a degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification in Radiography (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve high-quality patient care and image quality.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our patients and healthcare teams.
