Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of all data across both on-premises and cloud-based applications. This includes actively resolving technical issues from inception to resolution, with a strong focus on infrastructure technologies.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in many areas, including information technology, compliance, information management, and/or information security, as well as a solid background in network switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN. Additionally, they should be knowledgeable about security best practices such as encryption, hashing, vulnerability scans, event log monitoring, intrusion detection and prevention, eDiscovery, and content filtering.

This is a hands-on, technical role that requires a robust background in infrastructure technologies to assess and deploy solutions. Experience managing Rapid7, NextGen AV systems, AI models, and EDR solutions is highly desirable. Prior experience with SIEM, configuration management, hardening, and vulnerability scanning, as well as identity access management systems (IAM), is also preferred.

The successful candidate will participate in cybersecurity projects to ensure timely delivery and adoption to meet the company's information protection requirements. They will also be part of an on-call rotation for emergency-related events due to outages or cyber events.

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
