Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in leading our clinical services team to deliver high-quality patient care in the comfort of clients' homes. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of licensed staff, including LPNs and RNs, to provide high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality and risk assessments to identify areas of concern and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement client care plans, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Provide guidance and counseling to coordinators, office staff, marketing, and HR teams to improve all aspects of home health care.
  • Assist in policy formation and administrative decision-making, particularly regarding clinical services and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policy and procedure, monitoring job performance and completion of evaluations and counseling of clinical staff.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure services are provided, maintain lists of hospitalized clients, and confirm services continue upon discharge.
  • Develop and implement client marketing plans, supporting and aiding marketing efforts by meeting with prospective clients in a timely manner.
  • Act as an ambassador and public relations representative to guests and other visitors, demonstrating an appreciation of the heritage, values, and wisdom of clients and an understanding of the aging process.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and 1 year experience within the past 5 years as a RN in an acute facility.
  • Current State license without encumbrances and in good standing as a Registered Nurse by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Knowledge and ability to provide skilled nursing care as defined in the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Passing score on the RAH Registered Nurse Competency Exam.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Use of an insured automobile and a valid driver's license or access to adequate transportation.
Working Conditions

Primarily works in private homes and/or facilities, travel required. Shift times and days vary with facility needs.
