Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $20 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement at $0.62 per mile. In addition, we provide excellent benefits, including generous paid time off for holidays, vacations, and sick leave.

Job Description

As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting individuals with disabilities to develop and practice the skills necessary to pursue opportunities in their communities. Your key duties will include:

  • Implementation of Individual Support Plans: Assist individuals in developing and implementing plans that promote skill building, independence, and social integration.
  • Data Tracking and Reporting: Track and report data related to individual goals and objectives.
  • Advocacy: Actively advocate for the individuals you are supporting to ensure they receive the support and resources they need.
  • Community Resource Access: Assist individuals in accessing community resources that will empower them and enhance their quality of life.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office and email communication
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate and resourceful approach to working with individuals with disabilities
  • A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle meeting state requirements

Physical Demands

This position requires frequent standing, pushing, pulling, walking, stooping, lifting, and twisting.
