Job Title: Civil Engineer - Land Development Specialist

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop creative land development solutions.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports for site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.
  • Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and due diligence assessments to evaluate project constraints and opportunities.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations to design stormwater management systems.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Conduct construction site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and codes.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction cost estimates, project schedules, and contract documents.
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineering staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and ability to obtain PE certification within six months.
  • Strong technical skills in land development design, including proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development projects.
