Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and certified Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at LADGOV CORPORATION. As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging and challenging group fitness classes in various formats, including low-impact, step, cycling, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct group exercise classes in your area of expertise, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for participants.
• Arrive early to set up equipment and remain after class to clean up and interact with clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized exercise room, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
• Demonstrate energy and positivity, providing a motivating and supportive environment for participants.
• Conduct pulse and water breaks during classes, and ensure music is professionally mixed and non-explicit.
• Adjust the pace of classes for first-time students and ensure all participants stretch major muscles.
• Record attendance for each class on the designated form.

Requirements:

• Current and valid professional certifications in your specific area of group exercise instruction.
• CPR with AED and first aid certifications.
• Primary certification from an accredited health/fitness organization or a commercial/industry health/fitness organization approved by the Service HQ in the specific physical activity program.
• At least six months of consecutive work experience if the certification required a written exam but no practical examination.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to demonstrate all types of steps and movements and adjust class intensity as needed.
