About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and organizational skills. As a Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, and outcome planning.
- Assess and manage patient pain, complete patient histories, and verbally report pertinent information to relevant staff.
- Document patient information accurately and legibly, using professional judgment and discretion.
- Identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
- Implement nursing care plans, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills in response to changing patient needs.
- Practice within legal and ethical guidelines, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and hospital policies.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
- 2 years of experience as an Ambulatory Surgery Center OR circulator.
- 4 years of experience in OR, with a focus on Ortho, Spine, and pain management.
