High School Science Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Science Teacher to join our team at Soliant Education in Colorado Springs, CO.
About the Position:This is a full-time, hourly contract position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of teaching experience. As a High School Science Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive lesson plans for high school science courses, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Environmental Science.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning and understanding.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and support a cohesive learning experience for students.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators regarding course expectations, progress, and opportunities for enrichment.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom culture that respects diversity and promotes mutual respect and understanding.
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field.
- Valid Colorado Teaching License with endorsement in Science.
- Previous teaching experience at the high school level is preferred.
- Strong content knowledge in one or more science disciplines.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore the wonders of science.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
