Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate General Journal Records to ensure financial transparency and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory to optimize cash flow and reduce costs.
  • Oversee fixed assets and property tax management to minimize liabilities and maximize returns.
  • Provide timely support during monthly accounting period-end processes to ensure seamless financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet federal and state regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Excel, with the ability to effectively use Outlook and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Prior experience with accounting software, particularly Sage, is a significant asset.
