Job Summary

The Precious Moments Learning Center 8 seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs that meet the needs of our preschoolers.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes socialization, creativity, and learning.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders through regular communication and progress updates.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children in a educational setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment; basic computer skills and proficiency in educational software.
  • Certifications: Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification required within 120 days of hire date.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and move objects; prolonged standing and walking required.
