As a Home Health RN with Amedisys, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, providing much-needed care where they want to be - in their homes. Our community-based care centers offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, where you can grow and develop your skills as a nurse.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care
  • Makes referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the patient's identified needs or documents rationale for not doing so
  • Promotes patient health and independence through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures, assisting patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques
  • Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager and care team
  • Plans and provides staff education

Note: If less than 6 months clinical experience as a RN, candidate must participate in RN Intern program.
