Job Summary
Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Gate Attendant to provide exceptional service to our visitors and residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors, vendors, and contractors, while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Visitor Greeting and Direction: Greet all visitors, vendors, and contractors, and direct them to their destinations in a friendly and professional manner.
- Information Collection: Obtain necessary information from non-resident/guests entering the community, including name, license plate number, and contact information.
- Promotional Materials: Distribute promotional materials to prospective guests and residents.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, vendors, and contractors, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of visitor information, including daily logs and pre-call sheets.
- Security and Safety: Monitor the community for any security or safety concerns, reporting any issues to management.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including submitting maintenance requests and checking buildings for any issues.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read maps and understand customer needs.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to all visitors, vendors, and contractors.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet.
- Schedule: Flexible schedule, including the ability to work non-business hours as needed.
