Job Title: Compounder

About the Role:

FUCHS is seeking a highly skilled Compounder to join our team. As a Compounder, you will be responsible for performing all essential duties with particular emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work in accordance with the production schedule provided by inventory planning.
  • Inform supervisors of any significant problems, issues, or concerns.
  • Complete production records and inventory transactions.
  • Update process documentation (batch sheets) as work processes are completed.
  • Update raw material inventory using computer software (SAP).
  • Follow established production procedures and instructions.
  • Follow quality and safety standards.
  • Meet production deadlines.
  • Clean, secure, and maintain work areas.
  • Perform shipping and receiving functions in the South Plant.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Technician experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Fork Truck Certification desired.
  • HAZMAT training (Hazwoper, etc) or experience desirable, but not required.
  • Must be able to read and perform manufacturing work instructions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains a strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing all aspects of the job.
  • Solid troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions.
  • Strong mechanical ability.
  • Team work skills.
  • Computer skills such as SAP knowledge and Microsoft Office a plus.
