RF Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Design Engineer to join our team at ATX Networks Corp. in Atlanta, GA.

The successful candidate will work closely with our HFC product development team to design and develop detailed broadband RF engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze RF circuits and systems for HFC products
  • Research and develop new design concepts and components
  • Utilize RF simulation software tools for circuit simulation and analysis
  • Collaborate with the RF engineering design team and product management team on cost-effective solutions
  • Work with outside suppliers to identify suitable components
  • Perform or facilitate testing of products/systems to validate designs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3+ years of broadband RF design and development experience
  • Strong background in ADS or Genesis RF simulation software tools
  • Experience with schematic capture tools and filter design
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

This is a hybrid role with the Atlanta-based development team and remote work with other ATX personnel in Whitby, Ontario.
