Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineering Lead within the Shared Services and Advanced Technology Delivery (SSATD) organization, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including both full-time staff and contracted specialists, to drive IT project initiatives through various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives.
• Lead technical activities and provide guidance on complex projects that impact the organization.
• Design and develop cost-effective application solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications as the chief technical contributor.
• Oversee ongoing system maintenance, research, and problem resolution tasks.
• Manage Code Asset for applications, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Support and mentor team members in developing API services, utilizing both onshore and offshore resources.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years in application program development.
• At least 6 years of experience in Datapower and Java Development.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in developing web applications using Java, J2EE, REST, SOAP, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and OpenShift Cloud Migration.
• Strong understanding of business and functional requirements related to application support.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in mentoring teams on processes and standards for quality deliverables.
• Ability to manage end-to-end communication and project planning.
• Familiarity with release validation and related documentation.
Education
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is: $124,000 - $247,200. This range represents the base salary for all positions within this job grade. Actual offers will depend on various factors including experience and education.
