Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Design:
- Steer the design and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructures utilizing GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Create microservices-oriented solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to facilitate smooth integration and delivery across development and production stages.
- Technical Guidance:
- Offer expert advice on cloud best practices, including multi-cloud strategies, containerization, and orchestration.
- Guide teams in adopting Kubernetes and Docker for effective container management and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline technical requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Hands-On Development:
- Participate in hands-on coding in Java to develop and maintain essential components of the solution.
- Integrate APIs and external services to enhance the functionality and value of the solutions.
- Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Mentor junior engineers and consultants, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle, including process automation, toolchain enhancements, and performance optimization.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Required Skills:
- Cloud Platforms:
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in architecting and deploying cloud-native applications in multi-cloud environments.
- Software Development:
- Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of API integration technologies and best practices.
- DevOps & CI/CD:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a cloud-focused role.
- Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven design patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
