Key Responsibilities- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other medications to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, documenting progress and communicating with healthcare teams as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and guidelines in oncology nursing.
- Current RN license and 2+ years of experience in medical oncology preferred.
- ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain within a year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills.
