Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other medications to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, documenting progress and communicating with healthcare teams as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and guidelines in oncology nursing.
Requirements
  • Current RN license and 2+ years of experience in medical oncology preferred.
  • ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain within a year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills.
