Position Overview
We are currently seeking skilled individuals to fill the role of CNAs, where you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and grow in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with mobility, including lifting, turning, and transporting them safely.
- Support residents with personal grooming and ensure they are dressed appropriately.
- Provide assistance with bathing and daily hygiene routines.
- Help residents maintain oral health through daily dental care.
- Ensure the comfort and cleanliness of residents, particularly those who are incontinent.
- Assist with bowel and bladder functions as needed.
- Maintain proper body alignment for residents during positioning.
- Change bed linens and make beds as required.
- Implement restorative and rehabilitative procedures as directed.
- Support residents in daily activities and social programs.
- Document care accurately and completely.
- Measure and record vital signs as instructed.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions.
- Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions and maintain required training hours.
- Respond promptly to resident calls and maintain a safe environment.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Keep all resident equipment clean and in good condition.
- Review care plans regularly to ensure appropriate care delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ privacy.
- Foster a warm and supportive atmosphere for residents and their families.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervision
Supervision will be provided by the Nursing Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid nurse aide certification.
- No history of abuse convictions.
- Reliable attendance is essential.
- CPR certification is required.
Work Environment
- Long-term care facility.
- Nursing home setting.
Shift Details
This position is for the night shift, typically from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
