About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gas Distribution Engineer to join our team in Menands, NY.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to provide engineering design and analysis support for various gas distribution projects. As a Senior Gas Distribution Engineer, you will coordinate with municipalities, engineering support service providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering design and analysis support for all types of gas distribution projects.
  • Coordinate technical communication with various stakeholders, including municipalities and engineering support service providers.
  • Answer technical inquiries, make recommendations, and provide process troubleshooting and improvement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in utility engineering, preferably in gas distribution.
  • A valid NYS Professional Engineering License.
