Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and communicating with healthcare teams.
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in long-term care or IPR preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a complex medical assignment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication skills with patients and peers.
