Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our market float pool team at St. David's HealthCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our catheterization laboratory.

About the Role

This position involves scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures, monitoring and documenting procedure in the hemodynamic system, educating patients and family members regarding the technical aspects of the procedure, and assisting in ordering supplies/maintaining inventory.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field; OR Associate's degree with 2 years' experience in cardiovascular technology
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification within 6 months of hire; OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification and Texas Medical Board registration upon hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications as per St. David's HealthCare policy
