CredTALENT is seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Traveling Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare teams while traveling to different locations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Imaging: Utilize computerized tomography (CT) equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Patient Positioning: Appropriately position patients to ensure accurate and safe scanning of specific areas of their bodies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes and ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Control: Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they meet technical quality standards.
- Patient Care: Explain scanning procedures to patients, provide reassurance and support as needed, and administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image quality.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Certifications: Current certification in Radiologic Technology and any relevant specialty certifications.
