Lineman

We are seeking a skilled Electric Line Technician to join our team at Southeast Utilities of Georgia, a Congruex company. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead cable TV and fiber-optic communication lines.

• Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain overhead cable TV and fiber-optic communication lines, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations.
• Pole Framing and Placement: Assist with pole framing and placement of stands, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
• Climbing and Safety: Climb poles and operate bucket trucks safely, following all safety protocols and regulations.
• Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools of all types, including drills, saws, and other equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all installation work meets quality standards and company expectations.

• Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

• Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to job sites.
• Background Check: Pass a background check and have no DUIs or felonies.
• Availability: Be willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends, and travel on short notice within the Southeast region.
• Weather Conditions: Work in inclement weather and be comfortable with heights.

• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the telecom, utility, construction, and/or engineering industry.
• CDL: Possess a current CDL.
