Key Responsibilities:


The Academic Instructor is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive academic program with guidance and support from the Education Supervisor/Manager and Executive Director.

Collaborating with families, the instructor will develop personalized academic plans tailored to help students achieve their educational objectives. This role involves managing multiple students who are working at different paces across various subjects.

Core Duties:


1. Develop individualized academic plans for each student in coordination with families and educational institutions based on relevant academic data.

2. Collaborate with schools to ensure timely administration of coursework as needed.

3. Provide personalized instruction and academic support to students through virtual platforms and school-facilitated curricula.

4. Supervise math and science tutors, offering direction, feedback, and management as necessary.

5. Monitor student progress, communicate weekly updates to families, and maintain accurate records in the electronic documentation system.

6. Assist in daily and weekly assignment scheduling while supporting students in establishing their weekly goals.

7. Provide necessary support and accommodations for IEP/504 meetings.

8. Attend mandatory internal meetings and training sessions.


9. Communicate any behavioral, academic, or attendance issues to clinical and direct care staff to develop appropriate interventions for students.

Participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings, parent meetings, and clinical discussions.

10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in student instruction is required, preferably at the middle or high school level.
