Job Summary:
LanceSoft is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a contract position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a local hospital in New York City. As a contract RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Level 3 NICU
- Previous teaching hospital experience
- Previous travel experience
- BSN degree
- New York State RN License
- Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset
- AHA BLS certification
- NRP certification
