As the Manager of Solutions Architecture, you will report directly to the Director of Field Engineering for the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector. In this capacity, you will oversee a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects dedicated to managing intricate, strategic accounts.

Your leadership will be pivotal in nurturing a high-performing team skilled in enterprise software, big data analytics, data engineering, and data science.

Your collaboration with the sales team will be crucial in seizing revenue opportunities through effective strategies while mentoring new sales and pre-sales personnel to foster teamwork.

You will actively participate in enhancing your team's productivity; your expertise in articulating complex, value-driven solutions will support intricate sales processes and help cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in large enterprises.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of Solutions Architects in a rapidly growing organization.
  • Achieve your region's sales objectives by ensuring your team can effectively qualify accounts from a technical standpoint, identify significant use cases, create proof of concepts, and establish themselves as trusted advisors throughout the customer journey.
  • Ensure customer success with Databricks, delivering exceptional value to their operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships across various departments (partners, sales, go-to-market) to ensure the success of both your customers and your team.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the data sector with a technical product (e.g., data warehousing, big data, or machine learning).
  • At least 2 years of experience leading technical teams, preferably in a pre-sales environment, with a track record of building territories, upselling strategic accounts, and surpassing annual targets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to technical executives, guiding critical data infrastructure decisions.
  • Experience in leading teams through best practices for technical qualifications, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.
  • Proven ability to hire and develop qualified candidates, helping them succeed and advance into larger roles.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry.

This position allows for remote work, but candidates located in other regions may also be considered.
