Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee or assist in the preparation of meals in accordance with established culinary procedures.
  • Assess the quantity and variety of food and supplies needed based on production requirements.
  • Familiarize yourself with menus, recipes, and food presentation standards.
  • Adhere to established health and sanitation protocols, ensuring personal hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Prepare all dishes according to standard recipes and accommodate special dietary requests.
  • Organize food production to align with meal service times, maintaining the quality, temperature, and visual appeal of dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace; ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Prepare ingredients for upcoming shifts and the following day’s service.
  • Collaborate with service staff to guarantee guest satisfaction and address any food service concerns.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of cooking experience in a restaurant or full-service hotel setting.
  • A culinary degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business demands.
