Job Title: Clinician/Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinician/Therapist to join our team at Vermont Permanency Initiative. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide individualized, trauma-informed services to children and adolescents who have experienced complex developmental trauma.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of the Clinician/Therapist is to provide clinical services and supports that are youth-guided, trauma-informed, and aligned with the permanency goals of the youth. This includes providing individual, family, and group counseling, as well as case management and case consultation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy services to children and adolescents.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and associated documentation.
  • Participate in treatment, permanency, and discharge planning with students, families, and agency personnel.
  • Collaborate with consulting psychiatrists as it relates to medication management.
  • Understand and adhere to the administrative structure, chain of command, and program philosophy of Vermont Permanency Initiative.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and 21+ years of age.
  • Satisfactory completion of background and pre-employment checks.
