Occupational Therapist Travel Assignment in Rapid City, SD

Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a travel occupational therapist for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, SD. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as an occupational therapist and possess excellent critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
The occupational therapist will be responsible for administering medications as ordered, monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure, sharing on-call responsibilities, maintaining cleanliness of rooms, and transporting patients as needed.
Requirements- 1-3 years of experience as an occupational therapist
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy offers a competitive pay package, including a tax-free stipend amount of $4,500 per week (based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week). Benefits start day one, including medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, mileage reimbursement, license and certification reimbursement, and employee assistance programs.
In addition to these benefits, we offer a guaranteed hours policy, ensuring that you receive a minimum number of hours per week. Our weekly pay program allows you to receive payment every week, rather than waiting for bi-weekly or monthly paychecks. And with our cancelation protection policy, you can rest assured that your job will not be canceled without prior notice.
