  • Educate patients and their significant others on relevant health information promptly and provide written materials as necessary.
  • Execute direct patient care in accordance with established protocols, policies, and standards.
  • Prepare and administer medications following organizational guidelines.
  • Monitor and document patient reactions to administered medications.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage emergency situations swiftly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Facilitate the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents as needed.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as completing medical documentation, reports, evaluations, and charting as required.
  • Receive and document physician orders accurately on the designated forms.
  • Record all incidents involving residents, adhering to established protocols.
  • Confirm the identity of each resident prior to medication or treatment administration.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary medications, supplies, and equipment, and report any needs to the Director of Nursing.
  • Maintain accurate narcotic records for your assigned shift.
  • Inform the Director of Nursing regarding any discrepancies in drug and narcotic records.
  • Provide a thorough and concise report during shift changes, communicating essential information to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Carry out all job duties in compliance with safety and infection control policies, including proper hand hygiene, use of disposable gloves when necessary, and appropriate disposal of contaminated materials.

$35.00-$39.04 per hour
