The Housing Company, a non-profit organization, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including individual apartment units and the grounds.

Job Summary

This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week in Twin Falls, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have a basic working knowledge of building maintenance, including:

  • Carpentry
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Painting
  • Grounds keeping

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the maintenance of the complex and occasional work at other complexes as needed
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting
  • Keeping the grounds and common areas clean and well-maintained
  • Assisting with repairs and maintenance of individual apartment units

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A basic working knowledge of building maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
