Meat Associate

We're seeking a skilled Meat Associate to join our team. As a Meat Associate, you'll play a critical role in helping us build strong families and healthy communities by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality meat products are available to our customers.

• Receive and process meat deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating cooler stock.
• Weigh, price, and label meat products.
• Stock and maintain meat cases, selecting products and preparing valued-added items.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making product recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including processing cuts for the service counter and special orders.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs

• Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
• Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
