About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a lean team where your impact will be felt immediately. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to drive our real-time machine learning fraud capabilities and build machine learning into Alloy's product to improve our clients' decision-making and risk management.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Developing capabilities to architect scalable, fault-tolerant batch and real-time systems that power our machine learning systems.
  2. Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data Scientists to develop machine learning algorithms.
  3. Designing clean interfaces and well-tested systems.
  4. Participating in hardening our feature generation systems, including Flink, Kinesis, and Sagemaker.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer who embodies our shared values: Be Bold, Get Scrappy, Collaborate, and Celebrate Our Differences. You should have:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience writing production-level code as a software engineer.
  • Experience deploying machine learning models to external-facing applications.
  • Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, or Spark.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one machine learning framework (pytorch, tensorflow).
  • A portfolio of successful projects demonstrating a commitment to product excellence.
